Introduced in late 2005, the Xbox 360 dramatically increased gaming power with a three-core 64-bit PowerPC CPU from IBM, each core running at 3.2 GHz. Its ATI
Graphics Card quadrupled rendering speed, and Wi-Fi was added. An HD DVD drive was an option, but when Blu-ray obsoleted HD DVD, an Xbox Blu-ray drive was not offered as a substitute. In 2007, the case was changed from white to black, and HDTV connectors, Wi-Fi and 120GB hard disk were added. The drive was later increased to 250GB.
